Samsung places wireless OOH charging stations in bus stops across CBD

Samsung has partnered JCDecaux Singapore to create an out-of-home wireless charging station, located at 10 selected bus stops around Singapore. These will be along Orchard Road and the Central Business District, as both locations are frequented by shoppers and working professionals.

The public will be able to interact with these builds and experience the Wireless PowerSharing feature of the latest Samsung Galaxy S10+ flagship smartphone. These ads placed in prime areas look to integrate mobile technology with connectivity and provide an added convenience in an urban setting.

The move also aims to enhance the audience’s relationship with the brand by being relevant to consumers, artfully combining utility and entertainment. Samsung also ran ads to promote its new smartphone on JCDecaux’s other platforms across ION Orchard and Changi Airport to create a complete suite of out-of-home touchpoints.
