Rosewood Hotel appoints new global head of sales and marketing

Rosewood Hotel Group has appointed Thuy Tranthi Rieder as group vice president of sales and marketing to support its ambitious expansion and growing presence in the global luxury hospitality arena.Rieder has over 20 years’ marketing, sales and general management experience in consumer, luxury and hospitality brands. She has worked with several renowned brands such as Lancel and Chloé of the Richemont Group as well as LVMH.In her role, she will oversee the branding, communications, sales, marketing and e-commerce strategy for the group, which manages three distinctive brands with a combined portfolio of 55 properties in 18 countries and a target to operate 120 hotels by 2020.“Thuy’s experience in building global brands with leading consumer and luxury groups will be invaluable to the group’s growing worldwide presence,” said Symon Bridle, group chief operating officer of Rosewood Hotel Group.
