RoadShow hires former LeEco GM as SVP

RoadShow has hired Carman Ng as senior vice president of business development and event management with immediate effect.Ng was formerly general manager APAC of LeEco, and oversaw advertising sales and marketing teams at LeEco and LeSports Hong Kong.Over the past two decades, she has served as assistant vice president at now TV and ViuTV where she was responsible for driving advertising revenue. The media veteran also spent some 10 years at PCCW’s media group.In her new role at RoadShow, Ng will take charge of driving the future development of a growing portfolio comprising diverse operational units such as an established event management team.Roadshow recently announced the cessation of its broadcast in-bus advertisements on KMB buses from June onward, sparking concerns about the firm's future direction.Roadshow will be pivoting to focus on exterior and interior advertising panels on buses, the company said. Ng will offer integrated marketing services in its key growth areas such as BUS-BODY, IN-BUS, digital & mobile and event management as well as its upcoming new platform "bus shelter", which will commence on 1 July.“Ultimately, her appointment clearly underlines our determination to cement our status as Hong Kong’s leading out-of-home (“OOH”) media provider. Coupled with growing client demand, Carman’s addition to our team perfectly reflects our ethos of innovation and exceptional service at all times and in all areas of our operations,” said RoadShow group managing director, Stephen Loh.
