Ricola Singapore is in the midst of its media pitch. Confirming the news to Marketing, the client said it is a closed-door pitch with five agencies invited to pitch.
The incumbent on the account is Maxus Singapore which has held the account for over five years.
Marketing understands from its sources that Maxus will be re-pitching for the account. However, when contacted, Maxus declined to comment.
Celeste Ong, country manager, SEA of Ricola Asia Pacific said the exercise of reviewing agency is done every few years to ensure the brand’s media services are “best catered by the most appropriate agency and that Ricola remain relevant with the rapid changes in the media environment.” She did not comment on the account size or the name of the agencies in the pitch.
The appointment is for three years and is only for the Singapore market.
