RFI Studios wins digital retainer from Porsche Carrera Cup Asia

RFI Studios China, the digital arm of Ruder Finn Asia, has been selected as the digital agency of record for the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA), Asia’s premier sports car racing series.

The two-year retainer - awarded after a pitch among local and international agencies - will see RFI lead Porsche Carrera Cup Asia’s digital campaigns and social media promotions across the region, in addition to designing and maintaining this prestigious event’s entire web presence.

Ruder Finn Asia was already the corporate communications agency of record for Porsche China before RFI Studios’ retainer win for the event.

“This is a privilege and an exciting win for us. It is also an endorsement of our experience and expertise in the motor sports sector which we have been serving for several years,” Alan Ma, head of RFI Studios China, said.

“I look forward to being part of the team working behind the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and rolling out some of the innovative digital offerings we have developed to fit their needs.”

David Ko, RFI Studios Asia Pacific SVP, said, “This association with one of the most respected and prestigious names in motorsports clearly reinforces our value proposition. We are deeply honored and look forward to bringing the combined resources of the entire RFI Asia team to create some of the most innovative and immersive storytelling content for this iconic brand.”

Porsche Carrera Cup Asia is a sports car racing series featuring the 911 GT3 Cup model and 2017 will be the 15th season for the series. 2017’s action-packed calendar includes high profile race weekends in China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, with the season closing in spectacular fashion with a grand finale at Shanghai International Circuit.
