Jefferson has been a great asset to us and I have no doubt that in his new role as Greater China head, he will push the boundaries even further.
“Cathy, with her passion and formidable skills, has already made a tremendous contribution to RF Thunder. She has shown true leadership and is a valuable addition to our key management team. I am very proud of both of them and delighted to announce their well-deserved promotions. This is what is so unique about Ruder Finn’s culture in developing high potential individuals.”
With 15 years’ experience in communications and advertising, Hou, a senior VP of Ruder Finn Group, also heads Ruder Finn China’s Health & Wellness Practice. In addition to his time at Ruder Finn, Hou was previously general manager of PPR Shanghai (Racepoint) and head of Rx Drug Practice at Euro RSCG Life China.

Since transferring to RF Thunder Shanghai, Gu rapidly and successfully grew Thunder’s lifestyle practice to twice its size within a year. Specializing in luxury, beauty, fashion, travel & tourism and FMCG, Gu provides integrated strategic communications, social management, celebrity/influencer relationships, event management and reputation management. Prior to joining Ruder Finn, Gu was with Weber Shandwick, focusing on both major consumer and corporate clients, and with Dapeng LNG Company.
