Republic Poly (RP) has called for an integrated marketing pitch for its campaign. According to Gebiz, the appointment is for a year with the option to extend for another, and will commence on 15 February 2018.
RP has been active in the market research space, with its recent partnership with the Market Research Society Singapore (MRSS) and the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). As part of the partnership, RP, MRSS and NTUC will launch Singapore’s first Advanced Certificate in Market Research programme.
Co-delivered by RP and MRSS, the programme intends to help market research and marketing professionals develop skills for improved decision making to discover new business opportunities. The four-month Continuing Education and Training programme, inline with the national SkillsFuture movement, commences in April 2018 and comprises six modules.
In August this year, the school also partnered with Maxus Singapore to produce high calibre talent for the marketing research industry, through the delivery of insights, digital and content as well as visualisation.
The Memorandum of Understanding signing followed the expansion of RP’s market research lab, which specialises in determining consumer behaviour and research. Brands which have already jumped on board the lab include Dyson, L’Oreal and Oppo, to name a few, to gain access to focus group studies conducted with the student population of RP. The lab includes a physiological testing centre which includes facilities such as eye trackers and face readers to test reactions towards different ad formats.
In 2016, RP also introduced the specialist diploma in communication strategies for social media, in a bid to meet the growing demand for social media professionals across a broad range of industries. Founding members and principal consultants of digital media management consultancy firm QED Consulting, were engaged to co-develop and deliver the curriculum for part of the specialist diploma. It brings up-to-date industry knowledge and practices, and impart relevant skills to the participants of this programme.
