Redberry tipped to sell magazine Unreserved

Redberry is tipped to be selling its magazine Unreserved to Kassandra Kassim, according to NST Business.

Quoting close sources, the publication reported that Redberry is willing to sell Unreserved if the parties could strike an agreement with the price. Redberry will only reportedly retain The Malay Mail newspaper, which is Malaysia’s oldest English daily newspaper that it acquired in 2009.

The deal is said to be still in a premature stage, with more details expected within the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, a check by A+M showed that Kassim was part of the pioneer team that founded Unreserved, which at present has about 30,000 print run fortnightly, according to the website. She is now the chief creator at Newsmakers Productions, according to her LinkedIn.

Redberry is a diversified media company that operates a wide array of advertising assets that include out-of-home platforms such as airports, billboards along major highways, digital screens and buses plying major urban centres, according to its website.
