Reckitt Benckiser picks media agency in Indonesia

British multinational consumer goods company Reckitt Benckiser has appointed Omnicom Media Group its media agency in Indonesia. The appointment comes following a review in Q4 2019 which saw GroupM's MediaCom pitching for the account.  Marketing Interactive understands that the media account is estimated to be about US$30m, and the incumbent was IPG Mediabrands.

Omnicom Media Group will take on the full responsibilities for traditional media and digital planning, while digital buying will be split between OMG and Publicis Group for specific categories. Brands under Reckitt Benckiser include Air Wick, Clearasil, Dettol, Durex, Strepsils and Veet among others.
