REA Group Asia, the company that operates Malaysia's property portal, iProperty.com.my, has promoted Kristina Prabakaran to head of customer marketing and marcomm, after more than a year as head of marcomm, according to her LinkedIn. Based in Malaysia, Kristina (pictured) first joined REA Group Asia as an events marketing manager in 2017.
Kristina will be responsible for setting the plans and strategies for the brand, as well as activities to engage with consumers nationally. Kristina will further align iProperty.com.my's business initiatives and products with its customers' sales and marketing objectives, and creating more business opportunities and partnership.
Prior to this, she was the social media manager at Malaysian eCommerce platform 11Street for close to three years. She also has experience on the agency side, having worked at Ogilvy and McCann. According to her LinkedIn, Kristina was with Ogilvy in Hong Kong and Malaysia and worked on accounts including Sands China and Maxis. At McCann, she also worked on the Maxis account as well as Nestle, her LinkedIn said.
In 2016, REA Group acquired iProperty Group and the latter rebranded to REA Group Asia earlier last year, adopting the parent company's corporate brand identity. Among the list of REA Group's values include "Do it as one team", "Do it with heart", "Keep it real" and "Inspire it". REA Group in Asia operates digital real estate sites, experiences and events which aim to deliver the most comprehensive set of related property services and project marketing across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Greater China.
