Gomez will also play an important role in ensuring synergy across the Groupe, working closely with business leads within the Groupe’s agencies.
Reporting to CEO Tan Kien Eng, Gomez will focus on identifying and recruiting top talents, employee development and performance management, as well as placing active measure for employee retention.
Prior to her new role, she was the head of people and culture for Base Digital Agency. Before that, Gomez was chief talent officer at Publicis One and spent over three years as the head of people and culture at Leo Burnett. Gomez has over 12 years of experience in recruitment and HR, and has worked in various industries, including engineering and manufacturing.
“I am a strong believer of the Groupe’s country-led solution business model of a connected company platform and will be actively contributing in our transformation journey to complement this by building an organisational culture through values and shared goals. We have a great team and I am excited to be working with the best and most cohesive teams in the industry,” Gomez said.
Tan said Gomez was part of the pioneering leadership team for Publicis One back in 2016 and he is pleased to welcome her back as part of the Groupe’s core leadership team. “Gomez’s experience and expertise will not only help us build a right talent mix, but also help build a unique Power of One culture that allows us to share knowledge, ideas and best practices in an integrated environment,” he added.
