Publicis Groupe has appointed Jane Lin-Baden (pictured) as its Asia Pacific managing partner. Based in Shanghai, Lin-Baden will report to Loris Nold, CEO, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Publicis Groupe.
In this newly created role, Lin-Baden will oversee global clients, key strategic initiatives across talents and capabilities as well as a number of products and operations. Working with country leadership teams and global practice leads, this includes Digitas, Performics and Publicis Commerce to drive greater integration across Publicis Groupe in the region.
Lin-Baden was previously Asia Pacific CEO at Isobar, which she stepped down from in June. At Isobar, she oversaw 12 markets, after leading China since 2013. She brings with her two decades of experience in founding technology start-ups and growing strong digital businesses.
Nold said that the agency’s strategies rely on both a solution-led approach and a country-led approach. This was in a bid to ensure that the agency is able to deliver one to one consumer engagement at scale for its clients at country level.

Earlier this year, Nold was appointed as CEO of APAC in Publicis Groupe. This was in a bid to strengthen the Groupe’s ambition to develop its activities further in this strategic region and to become the trusted partner of its clients worldwide. Reporting to Arthur Sadoun, chairman & CEO of Publicis Groupe, Nold oversees all of Publicis Groupe‘s operations in the Asia Pacific market, from Publicis Communications, to Publicis Media, Publicis.Sapient and Publicis Health.
