Publicis China names integrated strategy head

Publicis China has appointed Yuhong Li as head of integrated strategy and new business director, based in Shanghai. Reporting directly to Greater China CEO David Gompel, Li is tasked with leading the agency’s integrated strategy team to devise unbound communication solutions that will help clients to lead the change in the market.The Publicis China umbrella in China houses the market’s best expert brands within multiple marketing disciplines which include creative, digital, user experience, shopper marketing and influencer relations. In her new role, Li will guide strategists across Publics China agencies to ensure seamless collaboration and multi-disciplinary campaign planning among Publicis, Nurun, Wangfan and Vivid.Speaking on the appointment, David Gompel, CEO of Publicis Greater China, said: “Yuhong’s appointment reflects Publicis China’s continued commitment to hiring multi- disciplinary and senior talents from varied backgrounds. Yuhong’s cross-channel experience will complement our competencies in integrated strategy planning."Having worked in multiple categories and on major brands including Alipay, Bayer, Jaguar, Kellogg’s, Wyeth, etc, Li brings Publicis Worldwide a wealth of best-in-class experience ranging from brand, digital and strategy planning to account management. Prior to joining Publicis Worldwide, Li was most recently with JWT where she led integrated strategy planning for Treasury Wine Estate across Asia.“My passion has always been pioneering integrated strategies across brand planning, digital, shopper marketing and public relations for clients," said Li.
