Prudential BSN Takaful hands Iskandar Ezzahuddin CMO role

Prudential BSN Takaful has named Iskandar Ezzahuddin as CMO to oversee product, distribution, group business, customer analytics, strategic pratnerships, digital transformation, as well as brand and communications. Iskandar (pictured) told A+M that he will also be looking to develop the shariah tech ecosystem in Malaysia and will report to CEO Wan Saifulrizal Wan Ismail.
"My vision is to work hand in hand with the regional as well as local team to build a takaful company that helps people get the most out of life. We have started this process with our Pulse App as well as PruBSN Aman, the first peer to peer takaful product in the country," he added. According to Iskandar, one of the key initiatives taken by the company was to enable a fully virtual sales process, which has helped customers obtain the protection they seek within the comfort of their homes.
Prior to joining Prudential BSN Takaful, he was CEO of Setel for more than two years, an e-wallet that specialises in petrol purchase exclusively at PETRONAS stations. He has also worked at GoBear as Malaysia's country director for more than two years, and was GM for U for Life for over a year where he managed the online distribution of life insurance in Malaysia. Iskandar has also worked at Malaysia Airlines, UOB, Citi, Nestle and P&G.
