Procter & Gamble adds to Asia marketing chief’s duties

Procter & Gamble has added to its Asia chief marketing officer Freddy Bharucha’s duties.

Bharucha will now also oversee the Procter and Gamble Teva business across Asia, Middle East and Africa. A P&G spokesperson confirmed this to Marketing.

Bharucha’s title is now CMO P&G Asia and GM Health Care, Procter and Gamble Teva (PGT), Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Procter & Gamble Teva is the company’s joint venture with Teva Pharmaceuticals for both organisations’ over-the-counter drug businesses outside North America. Bharucha continues to be based in Singapore.

For his new healthcare duties, he will report to Briain de Butlier, CEO PGT and Tom Finn, president, Global Heath, P&G. For his Asia marketing responsibilities, he will continue to report to Hatsunori Kiriyama, president, P&G Asia and Marc Pritchard, global CMO.
