PRecious Communications has appointed Sarah Cavanaugh as director, strengthening its regional leadership team as the integrated communications agency looks to deepen its capabilities across corporate reputation, healthcare and AI-driven communications.

Based in the agency's Singapore office, Cavanaugh will work with global and regional brands across Southeast Asia, with a focus on corporate reputation, healthcare innovation and the integration of AI into communications strategies.

She will operate under PRecious Communications' "ONE PRecious" model, which brings together the agency's capabilities across strategic communications, crisis communications, digital marketing and AI-enhanced storytelling.

Cavanaugh was most recently director, healthcare and corporate at Golin APAC. She brings more than a decade of experience across corporate affairs, public affairs and healthcare communications in Asia Pacific, advising multinational companies on corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement, issues management and public affairs.

Her portfolio has included work with brands and organisations such as LinkedIn, AWS, Money20/20, Organon, Takeda and Visa.

Cavanaugh has been based in Singapore for the past seven years and has worked across complex and highly regulated industries. Her experience includes helping clients navigate commercial and government priorities while building understanding and trust among stakeholders.

In addition to her client-facing remit, Cavanaugh is involved in PRecious Communications' internal AI transformation efforts. She is leading workstreams focused on using AI to improve productivity and the quality of client deliverables.

"Cavanaugh's appointment marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing forward-thinking, strategic counsel," said Lars Voedisch, founder and group CEO of PRecious Communications.

He added, "Her extensive experience in corporate reputation and healthcare, combined with her innovative approach to the evolving intersection of AI and communications, makes her an invaluable addition to our leadership team. We are thrilled to have her steer client initiatives and drive high-impact, measurable solutions for our clients in an increasingly complex landscape."

Speaking on her new role, Cavanaugh said, "I am delighted to join PRecious Communications, an agency that truly understands the balance between data-driven strategy and authentic storytelling."

"Our team represents a unique space to push the boundaries of how we advise clients on topics like AI visibility and strategic reputation. I look forward to working with the team to continue building out these capabilities and delivering value that is both meaningful and strategically grounded for our partners," she added.

The appointment comes as PRecious Communications continues to build out its senior leadership and advisory capabilities in Singapore. Earlier this year, the agency appointed industry veteran Ng Chip Keng as senior vice president to lead its corporate and financial practice.

Ng, who has more than 30 years of experience across in-house and agency roles, is tasked with growing the agency's financial communications offering across areas including investor relations, transactions, issues and crisis management, and financial services marketing. He reports to regional COO Joanna Ong and sits on PRecious Communications' senior leadership team.
