Prasarana's new CEO reshuffles senior management

Prasarana Malaysia's president and CEO Masnizam Hisham (pictured) has reshuffled her senior management team. According to The Star, which quoted an internal memo, Masnizam appointed chief strategy and transformation officer Ezwan Hazli Abdul Malek as group director of special projects.Prasarana Malaysia is responsible for the operations of the Light Rail Transit, Mass Rapid Transit and monorail, among others. It has six subsidiaries including Prime, Rapid Rail, Rapid Bus and Prasarana Integrated Development.Taking over him is chief financial officer Megat Khairulazhar Khairodin, who will be replaced by Mohd Rafizee Abdul Rahman. All appointments are effective 1 March 2018. A+M has reached out to Prasarana for comment.The reshuffle follows Masnizam's appointment in January this year, which saw her replacing Datuk Seri Azmi Abdul Aziz, whose contract ended on 31 December last year.She is tasked to ensure the success of the Al Mashaaer Al Muqaddassah Metro Metro-Southern Line project in Saudi Arabia, the training of mass rapid transit workers in Jakarta as well as, the Prasarana infrastructure development in areas such as procurement of trains, buses and depots. Former chief risk officer at Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services (PRIME), Ahmad Sazali Ismail, took over her role as CEO of PRIME.
