Pizza Hut Singapore's director of marketing and food innovation Ailsa Tan (pictured) has stepped down from her role, three months after joining the quick-service restaurant brand.
Confirming her exit with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Tan said that her decision to leave ultimately came down to the role not being the right fit.
Tan also confirmed to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that a successor has been identified. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Pizza Hut Singapore for more information.

During her three-month tenure, Tan said the team reviewed Pizza Hut Singapore's customer journey and worked on retargeting customers who had abandoned their carts. She also oversaw a restructuring of the team to allow employees to focus more closely on their respective areas of specialisation.
Additionally, Tan pointed to the relaunch of Pizza Hut's Braddell Heights outlet as another key outcome of her tenure, saying the branch is now on a path towards more sustainable business performance.
Reflecting on how she hopes her time at the company will be remembered, Tan described herself as a "problem doer" who fixes things.
In a LinkedIn post announcing her departure, Tan said "sometimes the most honest thing you can do is recognise when you aren't the right person for that specific corporate chapter."
"I’m walking away proud of what we built in just 3 months. My sincere thanks to the team and partners who showed up with so much heart every day," she added.
Tan joined Pizza Hut Singapore in June this year as director of marketing and food innovation, taking charge of the brand's marketing and food innovation agenda across brand building, customer engagement and product development.
Her appointment came as Pizza Hut Singapore continued to build on its refreshed "Feed good times" platform while marking its 45th anniversary in Singapore.
At the time, Pizza Hut Singapore said Tan's experience in consumer insights, digital capabilities and performance-driven marketing would support its efforts to strengthen its market position amid growing competition and changing consumer expectations.
Tan brought more than 18 years of commercial and marketing experience to the role, having previously worked with brands including Pfizer, Philips and Samsung. She also founded and led her own marketing consultancy before joining Pizza Hut.
When her appointment was revealed, Juliana Lim, general manager of Pizza Hut Singapore, highlighted Tan's combination of strategic thinking and commercial instincts, as well as her experience in digital, customer journey optimisation and business transformation.
