Franchise company Sarimelati Kencana is looking to bring the Pizza Hut brand to more locations as the company saw profits rise as of September, said a report on Jakarta post. According to the article this was due to the increase in the number out outlets the brand has and run across Indonesia. It now hopes to expand eastern Indonesia provinces.
The article on Jakarta Post said that the company’s net profit shot up 47% yoy to Rp 149 billion (US$ 10.60 million) as of September on the back of a significant 14.2% increase in net sales to Rp 2.9 trillion in the same month. It also is said to expect positive results for the rest of the year.
Meanwhile, Pizza Hut recently appointed Havas Group Indonesia to handle its media duties, effective 1 January 2020. The account will be serviced by Arena Media Indonesia, a Havas Media Group brand.
The agency was awarded the business after a pitch process that included the incumbent Wavemaker and IPG Mediabrands, said a press release. Under the appointment, Arena Media Indonesia is tasked to handle the offline and online media planning and buying. It will also provide monitoring and measurement solutions for any campaigns under the Pizza Hut brand.
