Pintu offers a look into crypto investment with digital and OOH campaign

Crypto investment mobile app Pintu is rolling out a new campaign to showcase the ease and safety of its app, which will run in Jakarta across digital and OOH. Done in collaboration with Pantarei, the campaign features a digital video showcasing various types of people entering the world of crypto investment through Pintu, such as risk-takers, cautious investors, rookies who want to give crypto investment a try, experienced investors, and even students who want to quench their thirst for knowledge.

The campaign goes hand in hand with the vision of Pintu’s CMO Timothius Martin to make cryptocurrency investment accessible for as many investors as possible in Indonesia. The popularity of crypto investment itself is fairly recent in Indonesia and the majority of Indonesian investors see it as a complex, intimidating new investment asset class. Martin attributes this as the primary reason for wanting to raise awareness about the Pintu App as the credible, easy-to-use crypto investment platform not only for experienced investors but also for beginners and aspiring investors. 

According to Pintu, the campaign launch was timely as crypto investment is becoming more popular amongst today’s youth, based on Google Trends. As Indonesian youth are considering cryptocurrency to be a rising option for long-term investment for passive income, Pintu aims to support them to explore the world of crypto investment.

Ideation-wise, Panteri said that it recognised that compared to other forms of investment - such as cash, gold, or even mutual funds - cryptocurrency is the most “invisible”, which makes learning and investing in it more challenging and overwhelming to get a grasp on. Therefore, the campaign gave crypto investment a more tangible shape that people can relate to - a new world for everyone, that can only be entered simply and safely through the Pintu App “door”. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out for comment.

Pantarei is currently among one of the agencies under the holding company PINC, which was founded last year as an independent management consultancy. Among the list of brands it has worked with include AIA, LINE, Matahari mall, Bir Bintang, and LG.
