P&G jumps on board Shopee’s regional ‘Super Brand Day’

Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Shopee have launched its first regional “Super Brand Day” to launch P&G’s latest line of hair care products across six markets in Southeast Asia. Named “Stop Bad Hair Day”, the campaign is part of P&G and Shopee’s strategic partnership to drive its online sales and hair care category growth in eCommerce.

From 12 to 15 April, Shopee will feature offers from P&G’s leading hair care brands including Pantene, Head & Shoulders, and Herbal Essences to address top hair problems in the region, such as hair fall, dandruff and oily scalp. According to the press release, consumers often face hair concerns such as dandruff, itchy scalp and frizzy hair during hot weather around that period. Therefore, P&G will be launching Head & Shoulders Sub-zero line during P&G x Shopee Super Brand Day as well to cater to the hair needs of Singaporeans.

Asia Pacific hair care eCommerce leader of P&G Deeksha Kakkar said that the company has seen “significant growth” in its eCommerce business in Southeast Asia since the launch of the P&G Official Store on Shopee.

Agatha Soh, head of regional marketing, Shopee, said, “As e-commerce continues to grow in the region, we see a rising trend of consumers opting to purchase their daily necessities online. In line with this trend, we are happy to partner P&G to further provide users with greater convenience and cost-saving opportunities when buying their everyday items on Shopee.”
