Pete Mitchell joins Nick Fawbert's Mutiny as co-founder

Former Mondelez marketer Pete Mitchell has joined Mutiny Consulting. Prior to this, he was partner at Kudos Content. He confirmed the news of him joining Nick Fawbert's Mutiny as co-founder to Marketing and added that Kudos now ceases to exist as Lee Boden, chief at Kudos Content has now shifted to Dubai.Mitchell was last global media innovations director at Mondelēz International, a role he held nearly two years. He has over 24 years of experience in media agencies working in the UK, Asia and USA. He moved to Asia at the start of 2014 onto the client side as global media innovations director for Mondelez International.Prior to the role at Mondelez, Mitchell was managing director, BP global digital at Mindshare in the US. He also held roles such as regional strategic director, APAC at Neo@Ogilvy and regional digital director, APAC at Universal McCann.When reached out to by Marketing, Mitchell said that the company trying to focus on not just consultancy but e-learning."We are focusing not just on consultancy but also e-learning. There is a real need to bridge the knowledge gap that exists in the marketing industry between traditional ways of working and the pervasively digital era we have so rapidly moved into," said Mitchell. He explained that to meet this demand, short form digestible video content on all subjects, that can be watched anywhere at anytime on any devise is the key.  That's how the next generation instinctively learn.Meanwhile, Nick Fawbert, co founder of Mutiny, in an exclusive statement to Marketing, said that the company has been investing heavily into the development of a world-class sales and marketing skills e-learning platform."Mitchell's entrepreneurial talent and senior level contacts across the world is a critical part of that success. He’s playing a leading role in our initial investment round, ensuring that we can communicate our authority and credibility at the highest levels of the industry," he added."Bundling how-to videos with industry best practice and product guides and reviews, the platform aims to take a chunk of the global US$46 billion market for self guided online learning," he added.Mutiny is a consultancy business, which was launched by Fawbert for the Asia marketplace last year. It specialises in business transformation through digital marketing. Its also offers bespoke program development to support the creation of long term digital marketing strategies, business structures that support them, and the delivery of skills and talent development through workshop and e-learning programmes.
