Singapore-based performance marketing agency Disruptient and Dubai-based global innovation agency CreITive have signed a strategic acquisition. The Disruptient brand will be brought into the CreITive and will continue to operate as a standalone subsidiary.
The deal has been structured as a cash and equity merger but the agency declined to comment on the amount. The merger will see Disruptient CEO Dan Clarke (pictured left) join CreITive Singapore as managing director of its Asia Pacific operations. He will take on more of the day to day operational duties. Clarke first started Disruptient in June 2015 and is based in Singapore.
“I met Clarke exactly one year ago and immediately it was clear that we shared the same goals and high standards of work. Combining our companies, we’ll be able to offer clients the best possible digital services in Asia Pacific and continue our push to make CreITive the undisputed leader in digital innovation in APAC,” Veljko Vasic (pictured right), APAC CEO of CreITive, said. Meanwhile, Vasic will be in charge of pitching to new business around the region.
The merger looks to offer 360-degree digital web and mobile solutions to the companies’ clients, which include Visa, Axiata, Shopee, and amongst others. The new joint company will expand its presence in Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Its new team will consist of approximately 45 staff across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. It also plans to expand its operations in Asia Pacific by opening new development centres in Indonesia and Vietnam before the end of 2017.
According a press statement, Disrupient and CrelTive had been working together for close to a year to bring digital innovation, UI/UX design, web and mobile development, rapid prototyping solutions, and performance marketing services to clients across Asia Pacific.
