UPDATE: Paul Soon to join Possible as Powar's replacement

Paul Soon, previously CEO of Asia Pacific for XM Asia, is tipped to have joined Possible Worldwide as the replacement for exiting Asia Pacific chief Kenny Powar, several sources close to the matter have told Marketing.Powar's is currently serving notice at Possible. Soon will report to global CEO Shane Atchison.UPDATE: A spokesperson for Possible has confirmed the appointment of Soon and the departure of Powar, as earlier reported by Marketing. "Kenny leaves with Possible's thanks and very best wishes for his future endeavours”, said Atchison in a statement.Soon will be serving notice until March this year at XM Asia. His exit from XM Asia, after a decade with the agency, was announced in December last year. This comes at a time of much change at XM Asia. Earlier, regional director Vince Lui also announced his departure for Adobe. Soon's role at XM Asia has been taken over by Indonesian lead Nanda Ivens.Earlier, Marketing reported Powar's departure from Possible after 14 years with the agency.
