Paul Ho, the former creative director of Geometry Global, has rejoined Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong as group creative director of “shopper marketing” for Greater China.
In this newly created role, Ho will be mainly managing shopper marketing and taking part in 360-degree campaigns within the agency, while putting a greater focus on P&G, Saatchi & Saatchi’s biggest account.
On his third day at Saatchi, Ho has told Marketing the new role allows him more space to serve the Hong Kong and China market, which was missing at Geometry.
“My expertise is in activation and shopper marketing, which is all about how to engage consumers to experience brands.”
His new office should not feel strange given he joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 2006 as senior art director for three years.
He then joined OgilvyAction as associate creative director in 2009 and was promoted to creative director a year after.
In his new role Ho will report to Carol Lam, chief creative officer and managing partner of Saatchi & Saatchi South China, and is partnering with Richard Nicoll, the chief shopper marketing officer of Greater China.
Nicoll added: “I am delighted to have Paul on board. I am excited to work with people with such strong character and creativity.”
