AkzoNobel's spokesperson has confirmed to Marketing that there are three senior exits from its marketing team in Southeast Asia.

Quek was previously the head of marketing for Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos for Dulux, a role which he helmed since September 2018.
In his new role, Quek told Marketing that he manages both the brand and customer service teams across the marketing department for Singapore and Export Markets. "I aim to drive premium mix brand adoption and increase profitability for my cluster of countries through best marketing and customer services practices," he said.
Prior to AkzoNobel, Quek was with a video commissioning platform known as The Smalls where his last role was head of strategic partnerships. During his time there, he oversaw new business and marketing for Asia. He has 18 years of experience in commercial, brand and marketing experience, including a stint at Moove Media where he was head of marketing, digital and new media. “We thank the staff for their contribution. The successors for these positions are being selected and will be announced in due course,” he added.
Last year, the agency named MullenLowe Group its creative agency partner for its paints global marketing organisation. The partnership aims to deliver on the growth objectives and business opportunities of AkzoNobel’s professional paints activities. The news followed the group's appointment in 2018 as the global creative partner for AkzoNobel consumer paints.
