oOh!media moves to unlock summer at scale across Australia’s coastlines

oOh!media has unveiled its new Beaches Network, opening up advertising access across more than 100 of Australia’s most iconic coastal destinations.
With close to 80% of Australians living within 50 kilometres of the coast, the network will take in locations from Bondi and Palm Beach in Sydney to Glenelg in South Australia, St Kilda in Melbourne, Suttons in Brisbane and Cottesloe in Perth.
The opportunity, says oOh!media, is huge. Bondi Beach alone attracts up to 50,000 visitors a day during peak season, while Cottesloe draws more than 600,000 annually.
Mark Fairhurst, oOh!’s chief revenue officer said the network gives brands a chance to connect with audiences when they’re most social, active and engaged.
The network includes more than 800 sites within one kilometre of the coast and over 2,200 within two kilometres. It builds on oOh!’s recent long-term street furniture contracts across Sydney’s coastal suburbs, including a fully digital rollout in Waverley - covering Bondi, Bronte and Rose Bay - and upgrades across the Northern Beaches from Manly to Palm Beach.
“With coverage now extending across Sydney’s Waverley Council and the Northern Beaches, we’re unlocking premium access to Australia’s summer economy, when Aussies are out and about, catching up with friends, and spending $166 billion.”
Digital upgrades at key sites such as Manly Corso and Manly Beach are designed to connect brands directly with audiences in the heart of Sydney’s coastal lifestyle.
With spending across top coastal destinations rising by $76 million last summer, oOh!media said the Beaches Network captures both the spirit and scale of the Australian summer, offering advertisers a chance to be part of the moments that matter.
