Global sports media company ONE Championship has launched a new mobile app available for both iOS and Android users. The app will feature One Championship’s live events, digital content and statistical information on the fighters. All its content will be streamed in full high definition. This will include the “One: Unstoppable Dreams” fight on 18 May happening at Singapore Indoor stadium.
ONE Championship chairman and chief executive Chatri Sityodtong stated how he aspires for ONE Championship to take over NFL as the most expensive sports property in the world at a recent press conference. He also talked about ONE Championship’s competition with rival UFC and compared how UFC is only dominant in markets like South America and Brazil while One Championship held the largest viewing share with multiple broadcast partners in Asia.
“On Friday, we are one with Singapore in celebrating the beauty of martial arts as we have prepared the very best match lineup for the delight of our Singaporean audience and the rest of the world. This historic event will be seen around the globe as it will be aired by the biggest television networks across Asia and the world. Witnessing a great display of martial arts action is now at your fingertips," Sityodtong said.
The “One: Unstoppable Dreams” fight will also be attended by Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps. "It is my absolute honor to have Michael sitting at the front row of the greatest martial arts spectacle in the world. Just by having his presence cage side will be a huge inspiration to all out ONE Championship athletes and to all fans in attendance," Sityodtong added.
