Omnicom Media Group bolsters trading team across Greater China

Omnicom Media Group has made two appointments to strengthen its investment and trading teams across Greater China.

In Hong Kong, Derek Yip has been promoted to the role of head of trading, with Trisha Armstrong taking on a newly created role as head of investment for Omnicom Media Group Greater China.

Armstrong joins the agency from Mindshare China, where she held the role of head of investment. She previously worked for the Nine Network in Australia and Reckitt Benckiser, where she had role as media manager for Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

At OMG, she will be tasked with providing additional insight and data analysis into client and agency investment to ensure the best possible pricing is secured across all media.

Meanwhile Yip takes on another newly created role as head of trading, Omnicom Media Group Hong Kong, a position that sees Omnicom Media Group agencies OMD, PHD & M2M work more closely together to better leverage group resources for improved results.

Both Yip and Armstrong will partner with the agency brand teams across OMD, PHD & M2M to enhance competitiveness in the Hong Kong market for maximum client benefit.
