DBS Bank (Hong Kong) has been emphasising its digital capabilities over the years, and recently the bank has launched a campaign to reinforce its position in digital banking technologies, offering Hong Kong an innovative and convenient banking experience.
The campaign "This is DBS digibanking" highlights how consumers can "live more, bank less" through cutting-edge technologies, demonstrating how customers can manage their wealth with ease.
In collaboration with OMD Hong Kong, to convey the first-person narrative, OMD Hong Kong leverages multiple touchpoints including Facebook and YouTube. The campaign also takes over outdoor billboards across DBS Bank (Hong Kong) branches in Tsim Sha Tsui, Central, Wanchai, and Shatin, introducing high impact visuals to create awareness of "This is DBS digibanking”.
"Hong Kong consumers are becoming more technologically savvy and seek services that can live within their digital worlds. The 'DBS digibank HK' app and 'Card+ HK' app offers a unique digital banking experience that caters to consumers' lifestyles. Together with DBS Bank (Hong Kong), we are excited to bring to Hong Kong a media campaign that demonstrates the value of this powerful digital banking innovation,” commented Florence Wong, CEO of OMD Hong Kong.
To further strengthen the bank's credibility, DBS Bank (Hong Kong) has also partnered with some newspapers, including the South China Morning Post (SCMP), Sing Tao Daily, the Hong Kong Economic Journal (HKEJ) and am730, as well as online financial websites and apps such as HKEJ and Bloomberg. Members of the DBS leadership team are involved in various media executions, such as an infographic thought leadership on the evolution of digital banking with SCMP, online video tutorials on app navigation, and media interviews about DBS' direction in digital banking.
"DBS Bank (Hong Kong) is always committed to putting customers' needs and advancing banking experience as our core focus. The 'DBS digibank HK' app and 'Card+ HK' app are clear indicators of this.
