FMCG giant P&G launched its newest skin whitening product line for the Philippines with a mini-fashion show in partnership with beauty retailer Watsons.
The event is part of P&G’s tie-up with Watsons announced last year, which includes exclusive products and on-ground activations. The event last 23 October was the third under the Red Carpet events campaign via Ace Saatchi & Saatchi.
Invited the metro’s stylophiles for the grand reveal of Olay White Radiance line. Three out of five products were launched in the event, with the rest scheduled in the coming months, shared Deirdre de Padua, brand PR Manager to Marketing.
According to a release, the products Olay White Radiance CelLucent Essence, Cream and Essence Water are exclusively available in all Watsons branches.
Long-time ambassador Bea Alonso graced the “Spotless: A Pitch Black Event” to represent luminous fair skin from Olay, along with six models trotting the catwalk all styled by designer Santi Obcena.
Beyond the glitzy Olay red carpet events inviting mostly socialites, Carla Sia, brand manager at P&G, said in-store marketing targeting the average Filipina is at the heart of brand’s promotion.
“The red carpet can also be found in Watsons store manned by our ambassadors to help customers get acquainted with the brand. We are premium but we are approachable. That’s the idea why we are present where potential customers are,” Sia said.
