OgilvyOne realigns top management

OgilvyOne Malaysia has assigned its ECD Selina Ang an additional role as executive director and appointed Scott McBride, MD of OceanSeventy, as its new GM.

While Ang’s is a newly created position, effective 1 September, McBride takes over immediately from Alex Lee, who steps aside as managing director after three years of running the operation.

McBride will report to Ang, who will in turn report to Zayn Khan, country head, Ogilvy Malaysia.

McBride comes to OgilvyOne from OceanSeventy – his own digital/integrated business based in Glasgow, Scotland, where he has worked for six years.

“We have a new line-up of senior talent joining us across consulting digital, Neo@Ogilvy and client service. Under the new leadership, OgilvyOne is in excellent position to enhance the work we do for our clients and further build our reputation for excellence in integrated, direct and digital marketing,” Khan said.

Lee is said to remain within the Ogilvy network.
