Singapore – Ogilvy & Mather Singapore has appointed Oscar Prats(pictured) as its new managing director for OgilvyOne as well as a new head of planning, Steve Walls.
This follows a series of shuffles within Ogilvy last year, one of which involving Thomas Mouritzen, previously MD, OgilvyOne Singapore, being moved to a regional role.
Prats moves to Singapore from Spain where he led the agency there as vice-president, Ogilvy Group Spain and CEO of Advertising.
Prats has worked on many of Ogilvy’s global clients including IBM and American Express as well as led local business including Telefonica.
Walls joins from AMV-BBDO in the USA where he was recently been working on Blackberry. Prats and Walls join Ogilvy mid-January and will both report to group chairman Fiona Gordon.
