Ocean Park names Ivan Wong Chi-fai new chief executive

Ocean Park Corporation has appointed Ivan Wong Chi-fai as the corporation’s new chief executive effective 1 September 2021.

He will be succeeding current chief executive Joe Wong Chi-cho who was seconded from the government. He will arrive at the Park as chief executive designate on 16 August 2021 to start the leadership transition.
 
Wong is a customer-focused and innovative business leader with business re-engineering, marketing and digital expertise across the entertainment, telecommunication, information technology, media, and food and beverage sectors. He was most recently the chief operating officer of Lark International Group, where he oversaw the group’s portfolios in Greater China.
 
Lau Ming-wai, chairman of Ocean Park Corporation, said: “I am excited to welcome Wong to the management team. His market-driven mindset and remarkable business experience from product development to business re-engineering make him well suited for the role. Ivan will work closely with me and the Board to lead the transformation of the Park under the new strategy.
