'Not for sale': Arthaland's playful take on first-time homeownership with GIGIL

Many of life’s firsts end in regret – missed opportunities, bad timing, or sheer inexperience. But your first home shouldn’t be one of them. That’s the insight behind Arthaland’s latest campaign for its sustainable Una Apartments, developed with independent agency GIGIL.

The offbeat film, “Not for sale,” tells the story of a man wandering into a thrift store, only to discover that nothing is actually for sale.

The items on display are the owner’s old regrets, tangible reminders of past mistakes. To help him move forward, the man is taken on a whimsical, Willy Wonka-style tour of Una Apartments – a thoughtfully designed first home meant to last, and never to disappoint.

“When it comes to life’s firsts, many end in regret – often due to inexperience, bad luck, or poor timing. But your first home shouldn’t be one of them,” the campaign notes.

The film combines narrative storytelling with playful, imaginative visuals, positioning Una Apartments as not just a property, but a milestone experience.

Arthaland’s marketing team was led by executive vice president Oliver L. Chan and marketing unit head Cyrene Pamela S. Go. Meanwhile, GIGIL handled creative direction with head of art Ronchris Cosme and copywriter Joaquin Acosta, as well as associate creative directors Jillian Librodo and Greggy Gregorio, among others.

Production was managed by Arcade Film Factory, directed by Marius Talampas, with audio by Hit Productions.

By turning regret into a creative hook, the campaign underscores that your first home can be your finest – an investment in experience as much as in property.
