Burson-Marsteller has appointed Noëlle Gahan as managing director. Based in Hong Kong, Gahan is tasked with supporting the global Huawei business as deputy key client relationship (KCR) leader.
She is now responsible for supporting Huawei across its corporate, carrier, enterprise and consumer business groups, including work for the digital native smartphone brand and the fixed and wireless networks product lines. She will focus on Huawei full-time to grow the business and partnership, taking aim at expanding the brand's reach around the world and increase global market share.
Gahan has 25 years of marketing experience across Asia-Pacific, mainly in China and Hong Kong. She has held senior-house roles responsible for strategic planning, product marketing, marketing communications and building partnerships in technology multinationals including Cisco, Tektronix and Hewlett-Packard.
"Gahan’s appointment further enhances our ability to meet the evolving needs of this key global client," said Alastair Monteith-Hodge, regional managing director and global KCR Leader for Huawei at Burson-Marsteller Asia-Pacific, to whom Gahan will report. "In all of her previous roles, Gahan has successfully initiated and implemented major business process changes to accelerate growth that were later implemented globally. She is a true agent of change and her experience will enable us to develop tailored strategies to help drive business both in Asia and abroad."
