NLB on media hunt

The National Library board (NLB) is looking to appoint a media buying agency to assist its divisions in purchasing advertising spaces. The appointed agency will be tasked to handle media buys across platforms such as newspaper, magazine and outdoor bus shelter advertisement.

The agency chosen will also have to publicise NLB programmes, activities and initiatives for the NLB Singapore. The tender closes on the 2 May 2013 and the contract period is for a year.

Last year, the NLB worked with Mandate for the Speak Good English movement however the language division has now moved under National Heritage Board. Dentsu also earlier held the NLB media account, but the contract has since expired.

Earlier this year, NLB was also looking to appoint a public relations agency to handle its PR duties and implement strategies for the local market. The chosen agency will be tasked to handle upcoming projects for the board and the appointment would be for a period of one year.The tender has since closed, though the appointed agency has yet to be confirmed.
