It is safe to say that the Nintendo Switch is probably the most popular gaming console right now since it is sold out worldwide. For Asia in particular, the Nintendo Switch topped the popularity charts in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong, according to statistics from iPrice based on 1.5 million searches made on online shopping platforms.

The second most popular gaming console in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Hong Kong was PlayStation 4 (PS4), while Xbox One took the second spot in Thailand.

Interestingly, the roles were reversed in Indonesia and Vietnam, with PS4 claiming the throne while Nintendo Switch came in second. According to iPrice, the interest for Nintendo Switch in these countries only amounted to 61% of the interest for the PS4.
