Ahead of the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2026, Nike is empowering runners in Hong Kong with a comprehensive running-led initiatives and interactive post boxes designed to help them go further, run smarter and unlock deeper motivation.

As part of the campaign, Nike has established marathon cheer stations and training fuel stations across Hong Kong, delivering energy and encouragement when runners need it most. NIKE.COM members can write postcards at cheer stations to share personal goals, wishes or encouragement, which will be delivered to selected Hong Kong addresses. Participants receive limited-edition gifts and exclusive store offers.

Training fuel stations provide complimentary snacks and drinks, recovery zones equipped with massage guns, and on-site trials of Nike ALPHAFLY and VAPORFLY racing shoes. Members who post on Instagram and tag @nikehkg with #NikeHK2026 will receive a Nike reversible towel.

To amplify the initiative, motivational messages are placed on post boxes in Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, Sha Tin, Whampoa and Tseung Kwan O, bringing the spirit of running into everyday life with messages such as “Every step forward builds courage,” “Every step is something to be proud of,” and “Breakthroughs come from continuous perseverance.” Out-of-home ads are also placed on tram bodies to spread the spirit.

Selected Nike Runners Lounge across Hong Kong are introducing dedicated runner service experiences, designed to help runners train with greater precision and confidence. Through refreshed store environments, intelligent digital tools and locally inspired details, Nike re-energises the running community with performance-driven support.

Using advanced Foot Scanning technology in store, runners can analyse their unique foot shape and movement patterns, receiving data-informed footwear recommendations tailored to individual needs. Based on personal running goals and training demands, runners can explore marathon-ready options including the responsive Pegasus, the max-cushioned Vomero, and the stability-driven Structure series. NRC coaches and Pacers also provide expert shoe recommendations to guide runners toward the right choice.

After experiencing the service firsthand, Nike athlete Wong Cheuk-ning shared: “Technology helps runners choose the right gear more efficiently, making race preparation far more effective.” Looking ahead to race day, Wong also expressed excitement about seeing Nike’s motivational messages across the city: “When you’re exhausted and feel like giving up, a single encouraging message can become the push that keeps you moving forward.”

In selected stores, "Nike By You Customisation Service" introduces the limited-edition “We Run Hong Kong” collection, inspired by iconic local landmarks including Ting Kau Bridge and Observation Wheel at the Central Harbourfront — two of the most recognisable sights along the marathon and Victoria Harbour routes. The collection celebrates the city in motion, blending performance and personal expression so runners can bring their individuality to both race day and daily training.

To help runners unlock their potential, NRC introduces season-specific race training that combines expert coaching with personalised strategies. NRC training supports runners in pushing performance forward and stepping confidently toward race day.

Nike athlete Crystal Vut Tsz-ying recently joined NRC head coach So Hoi-nam at the Nike Rise Sha Tin, connecting directly with runners to share insights from her training journey and race preparation mindset. Drawing from her own experience, Vut encouraged runners, “The real challenge isn’t the training itself — it’s getting through the lowest point. As long as you don’t give up mentally, the opportunity will come.”
