Nielsen has appointed Cherry Lau as the company’s senior director of media.
Lau brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to the role from both agency and client side. More recently she was director of digital intelligence at GfK, responsible for spearheading the Mobile Users Metrics, StarchMetrix (magazine measurement) and Omni-channel Multi-device measurement development and implementation in Hong Kong.
“Cherry’s proven ability to deliver will be a critical asset as we continue to leverage digital to extend our marketing effectiveness and television audience measurement expertise. Her broad experience and perspective make her not only a great senior director, but also a strong business leader,” said Irene Chen, vice president, media, Nielsen Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Lau said it was a time of digital transformation and she was looking forward to the role.
