303 MullenLowe has been reappointed by Netball Western Australia to define its long-term corporate strategy, following earlier work on the sporting body’s masterbrand framework.
The win will see the Perth agency work closely with Netball WA’s executive team and board of directors to shape a corporate strategy plan through to 2030, setting the organisation’s direction across investment, growth priorities and how it promotes netball across the state. The appointment builds on 303 MullenLowe’s 2024 remit to develop Netball WA’s brand blueprint, which also covered West Coast Fever and the Shooting Stars program.
Netball WA group CEO Simone Hansen said the earlier brand work had created strong internal alignment and led to a natural extension of the partnership.
“303 MullenLowe have brought a fresh perspective into the business,” Hansen said. “We are looking forward to working closely with them, utilising their expertise and guidance, as we develop the next iteration of our strategic plan.”
303 MullenLowe Perth chief strategy officer Matt Oakley said work would begin immediately. “Undertaking the brand strategy project in 2024 gave us a chance to really get under the hood of Netball WA, and in doing so we uncovered a business full of passion and possibility,” Oakley said.
“Our promise was to give the team a blueprint they could own. Extending that work into corporate strategy is a great responsibility - and one we relish.”
Managing director Rene Migliore added the brief reflected the agency’s growing consultancy capabilities across volunteer recruitment, member retention and business prioritisation.
“We’re excited to keep building in this space with ambitious partners across WA and beyond,” he said.
