Nestlé Indonesia has appointed Dimas Bayu Permana (pictured) as its new head of corporate communications. The role, which had been left vacant, sees Permana overseeing corporate reputation, media relations, and digital communications.
In his new role, Permana reports directly to Sufintri Rahayu, director of corporate affairs and sustainability. He emphasised his commitment “to ensure that our messages consistently reflect Nestlé’s purpose of unlocking the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come”.
“The position had been vacant for some years, and I’m excited to bring a refreshed approach that aligns with Nestlé Indonesia’s evolving priorities,” Permana told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.

Before joining Nestlé Indonesia, Permana developed his communications expertise across both the public and private sectors. He most recently served as head of media and communications at eCommerce giant Bukalapak and previously held a role in government public relations at the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
Looking ahead, Permana highlighted his priorities, which include increasing visibility of the firm’s impact across sustainability and community-focused initiatives.
“For the remainder of 2025, my focus will be on strengthening the visibility of Nestlé Indonesia’s impact, from our Creating Shared Value (CSV) initiatives to brand-led efforts that support communities, sustainability, and business growth. It is about telling authentic stories that not only protect our reputation but also demonstrate how Nestlé continues to make a positive difference in Indonesia,” he added.
Founded in 1971, Nestlé Indonesia is a subsidiary of global nutrition and wellness leader Nestlé S.A., headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. According to its website, the company has around 3,200 employees and operates factories in Lampung, Sumatra, and across Java.
Nestlé Indonesia produces a wide range of iconic food and beverage brands, including Dancow, MILO, NESCAFÉ, Nestlé CERELAC, KitKat, Bear Brand, Milkmaid, and Carnation. The company is majority-owned by Nestlé S.A., which holds over 90% of shares.
