NESCAFÉ Indonesia has rolled out a film to bring out a fresh perspective to the current times. By celebrating the joy a cup of coffee can bring. the caffeine brand showcases unique stories and personalities that lie behind every cup of coffee through the cup itself. Despite the restrictions of not leaving homes, people continue to have the pleasure of drinking a cup of coffee as usual, which goes unchanged.
The spot features mugs and cups from individuals across different walks of life. Traits and personalities such as clever, brave, artistic were also showcased through the types of mugs one owns. The film was done in collaboration with Publicis Groupe Indonesia and shot entirely on remote sets from home.
Prillia Sandra Lubis, business executive officer – Coffee and New Business Development, Nestlé Indonesia said at Nestlé, the company wanted to communicate the importance of staying at home and wanted to say it in the most positive way possible.
"What better way to do that by telling the millions of Indonesians that staying at home is the best thing to do now through the eyes of the coffee drinker. We found a really creative method to do that by talking to the many personalities that reside amongst us from the reflections of their cups," she added.
Meanwhile, Ali Shabaz, chief creative officer, Publicis Groupe Indonesia said, “Almost all coffee lovers have their favourite cup in which they drink their coffee. We thought, wouldn’t it be great if these cups could speak and tell us a bit more about the owner? It was a treat to make this for a brand as iconic as NESCAFÉ.”
