Swarovski has picked Neelofa (pictured) to be the face of its latest Hari Raya campaign, featuring the Swarovski Raya Selection. In a Facebook post, Neelofa said that the campaign was shot in the desert of Abu Dhabi and will run on billboards. Meanwhile, the press statement described Neelofa to be the epitome of confidence and glamour.
Meanwhile, the jewellery brand also collaborated with Neelofa’s hijab brand, Naelofar Hijab, marking its first 360 partnership with the social media influencer.
According to Neelofa, syawal is the month where she dedicates her time and emphasises on the values and ways she can contribute to society.
“My aspiration is to be a giver, rather than a receiver. Somebody who gives love, strength and positive aura. I truly believe a person’s greatness does not lie in what they possess but rather in what they give. And one can only do so once they possess confident, strong and empowering qualities; allowing them to give the people around them their own sparkling moments,” she said.
Neelofa has been making efforts to give back to society. Last July, she partnered with Starbucks Malaysia for its “MY Cups of Kindness” campaign, assuming the role of a barista. She told consumers that RM0.50 will be donated to a charity close to her heart, with every purchase of Starbucks’ new summer beverages.
