While some netizens praised her fashion style, some teased Neelofa for her leather headwear, asking her what was on her head. Others jokingly said to call the police as someone was using a bag on her head. Some even trolled her by posting pictures of themselves with bags on their heads.

This is not the first time Neelofa made headlines for her fashion sense. Previously, the Malaysian social media influencer was under the spotlight for wearing 3D glasses to Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week, saying she had forgotten to return the glasses after watching a movie.

In July this year, Neelofa partnered with Starbucks for its “MY Cups of Kindness” campaign by assuming the role of a barista at Four Seasons Place. Neelofa also told followers that RM0.50 will be donated to a charity close to her heart, with every purchase of Starbucks’ new summer beverages. Among the list of brands that Neelofa has worked with include YES, AirAsia and OPPO. Meanwhile, she was also criticised in the past for launching her hijab collection at Zouk and promoting beauty supplement for infants on Instagram.
