NDN Group acquires app and web company FreeComm

NDN Group has acquired a major stake of Hong Kong-based app and web development company FreeComm Communications, in a move to better its digital-based integrated services.

The group said this latest acquisition could strengthen its services to create and launch innovation initiatives for clients, boost its rapid expansion, and diversify its business development across a wide array of industries.

“NDN stands as a regional and global leading venture builder in the advent of digital transformation era as we are dedicated to elevating our business solutions to the next level. With FreeComm’s integration into our group, we are set to render holistic and ultimate digital-centric services to a wider community in Hong Kong,” commented Andy Ann, chairman of NDN.

After the acquisition, FreeComm has stated it will attempt to grow its business by fully leveraging NDN Group’s digital services ecosystem and capacities. Candy Chui, director and partner of FreeComm Communications will also be joining the group's leadership team.

“We value NDN’s vision to initiate ever-breakthrough solutions and services to disrupt the market through optimizing customers’ digital experience lifecycle and journeys,” said Chui.

Founded in 1998, FreeComm Communications has focused on delivering tailored products and services - including property management systems, marketplace platforms, and e-learning solutions - to more than 1,000 enterprises, government agencies, and NGOs, reaching out to more than eight million users through its multi-platforms. Additionally, it also specialises in delivering comprehensive social benefit suites with exclusive rates for non-profit organisations, charity foundations, philanthropies, and community care groups.
