MyRepublic Indonesia sets April 2026 merger target, unveils new corporate identity

Eka Mas Republik (MyRepublic Indonesia) has announced plans to merge with Mora Telematika Indonesia, with the combined entity set to operate under a new name, Ekamas Mora Republik, from 22 April 2026.

The move marks a strategic consolidation within Indonesia’s internet service provider landscape, as the companies look to strengthen business capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and enhance service delivery for customers and partners nationwide.

Timotius M. Sulaiman, CEO of MyRepublic Indonesia, positioned the merger as a long-term growth play centred on customer value and innovation. “Through this merger, we are strengthening MyRepublic Indonesia’s commitment to continue growing alongside our customers. Going forward, we will focus on strengthening infrastructure, improving service quality, and driving continuous innovation to deliver a more seamless and reliable digital experience in every home and business we serve.”

Crucially, the company emphasised continuity for existing customers – a key consideration in maintaining trust during corporate transitions. All ongoing agreements, partnerships, and services will remain unchanged following the merger’s effective date.

Billing processes will also stay consistent, with no adjustments to invoicing mechanisms or bank account details despite the corporate name change. This approach signals a deliberate effort to minimise disruption and protect customer confidence during the integration phase.

The newly formed Ekamas Mora Republik is expected to leverage combined resources to strengthen its market position, while delivering sustained value to customers, partners, and stakeholders.

MyRepublic Indonesia, known for its fibre-based internet and subscription TV services, currently operates across 162 cities and regencies in Indonesia. Its dual connectivity offering – fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) and fixed wireless access (FWA) – positions the brand to address both urban and underserved markets.

As Indonesia’s digital adoption accelerates, the merger underscores how telecom and connectivity brands are investing in scale, infrastructure, and service quality to remain competitive – while reinforcing their role as enablers of seamless digital experiences across households and businesses.

Previously, MyRepublic Indonesia expanded its content offering by launching HITS NOW through a partnership with Rewind Networks, bringing a slate of popular Western dramas, reality shows, and live global events to subscribers at no extra cost. The move strengthened its positioning as a premium entertainment provider, leveraging exclusive access to high-demand international content to enhance its fibre broadband and pay-TV ecosystem across Indonesia.
