Weekender Group, a local lifestyle free paper, and online publication Mothership.sg have entered a partnership to share content across their print, digital and social media platforms.
Mothership.sg will now reproduce Weekender lifestyle articles on its website and social media platforms whilst Weekender will publish Mothership.sg's community and lifestyle articles on its paper and website. Besides content-sharing, Mothership.sg has also appointed Weekender Group as its exclusive media representative to help market Mothership.sg's digital media solutions to advertisers targeting readers of the popular local website.
Director of Mothership.sg, Lien We King said: “We look forward to this content and marketing partnership. Now more Singaporeans can access our articles across more media channels, and at various points in their daily lives.”
David Phey, COO of Weekender Group, added that the partnership offers a "powerful reach to advertisers" that can be integrated "impactfully across both traditional and digital media." Furthermore, he added that they have begun to "introduce joint marketing opportunities to advertisers and media agencies" and the reactions have been positive thus far.
According to a press release, together Weekender and Mothership.sg reach over 1.3 million readers across print, web and social media platforms.
