Mondelēz Malaysia names new MD

Mondelēz Malaysia has named Swadheen Sharma as managing director for Malaysia. In this new role, he will oversee the operations and growth of the company which owns a portfolio of iconic brands including Cadbury Dairy Milk, Oreo, Jacobs, Tiger Biskuat, Twisties and more.Sharma has worked with the company across the Asia Pacific region since he joined in 2011 as sales director for Malaysia. Prior to the appointment, Swadheen led the route-to- market agenda for Asia Pacific where he helped various business units improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their route-to-market.Sharma brings with him 22 years of experience in sales, marketing, strategy and execution in the FMCG industry. His passion lies in developing people and organizations for sustainable, long term success and he is an excellent fit for the role to develop, strengthen and sustain the Mondelēz business growth in Malaysia."Malaysia is important for Mondelēz International. Mondelēz employs over 1,100 people across Malaysia with headquarters based in Petaling Jaya, as well as three manufacturing plants in Shah Alam, Johor Bahru and Prai.
