Draftfcb has handed James Mok, group executive creative director for Australia and New Zealand, additional creative responsibilities for the Asia region.
In his regional role, Mok (pictured) will be a member of the Draftfcb global creative council and assess the agency's work in Asia Pacific.
Report to the region's chief operating officer Jonathan Allard, he will evaluate creative performance, mentor creative development and drive initiatives that assist the agency at regional and local levels.
Since he joined the agency, Mok has been Draftfcb's most senior creative executive in New Zealand. Prior to joining the company in 2005, he has held stints at Clemenger BBDO Adelaide, HKM Advertising and Saatchi & Saatchi.
"We have designed this new regional role specifically for him," Allard said.
"He will retain his creative leadership of the Australia and New Zealand agencies and in addition help elevate our creative product throughout APAC."
In New Zealand, Draftfcb has also expanded its creative leadership team with the recent appointment of two new ECD's, Tony Clewett and Regan Grafton. The agency has appointed Simon Edwards as creative director in Sydney.
